Hi and a very warm welcome to MCL Tours UK.
The company was conceived by Chris and Dave, out of our desire to share some of the great rides we have discovered over the years we’ve been travelling as a team and separately. We have travelled many thousands of miles through out Europe, Asia, South America, Scandinavia as well as the UK and Ireland. Some times we led, other times we where led. Most times we had fun, other times we had nightmares! It is with this experience that we aim to take all the good bits, remember all the lessons and provide you with a trip to remember.
At MCL we organise tours not races or epics, so while we like to explore as much of the selected area as possible, we also keep the miles to a sensible daily limit. We set no pre requisites as to experience, bike, age or gender, we just want the tour to be a memorable one for you. To help ensure we achieve that goal we are happy to discuss any part of the tour with you and if required adjust some of the finer details. After all it’s your tour!
We have one main aim at MCL and that is to ensure you, the customer, have a tour that is free from the worry and stress of organising hotels, routes etc. so you can just relax, enjoy the riding and the places we visit, leaving you with a memorable experience that you will remember for many years to come.
It goes with out saying our tours are on some of the greatest roads in the best places this country has to offer and that we will do everything in our powers to give you sunny days. However despite trying many formulae, dances and chants, we haven’t yet managed to come up with a consistent way to control the weather. So, on a serious side, unless we have exceptionally bad weather we will ride, so you will need to think about some good waterproof kit.
